Onsite hot foiling event for Luxury Group Marriott International at Bulgari Hotel London
24th April 2024 will definitely be a day to remember!
And that is because, on that day I had my first ever corporate event, where I provided for the first time onsite hot foiling personalisation and also because I worked alongside another talented industry friend Shamima (@mimawrites).
I will forever be grateful to her for accepting to join me at this event and for all her help received before the event. Because of her, I have now more confidence to do more hot foiling events.
Without doubts, this one was one of the most busiest events we took part.
The event was called ‘Passport to Luxury’ organised by Innovision for the Luxury Group Marriott International at Bulgari Hotel London.
The event had over 200 guests, and attendees received a gift bag that included one leather passport holder personalised by us onsite with their initials using the hot foiling technique. This is one of the slowest personalised techniques and to personalise 200 passport holders in 4 hours, it definitely needed 2 artists.
I am proud to say that together me and Sham managed to personalised all 200 passport holders in just 3 hours.
The forth hour (the last hour of the event) we had time to enjoy a drink, eat some delicious cannolis, personalise any last minute requests, take some photos and short videos.
We absolutely adored hearing everyone’s reactions when receiving back their personalised passport holders. The gold foil on that black leather was the dreamiest combo. Everyone said that they haven’t seen something like these before.
The event was a real success and I can’t wait to do more of these.
Things I learned during this event: always take extra tape with you and arrive a bit early to setup up and start cutting foil to save you time during the event.
